Tomorrow I’m going out of state to visit with my sister. I’ll be gone tomorrow and most of Friday. If you absolutely have to contact me send an email and I’ll reply when I get the chance.
As always my blogroll holds many places to get good reading when I am not around.
I went to the BMV and got the temporary instruction packet that I have to get before getting my permit. It’s basically just a book of all the things that I should and shouldn’t do while driving that I’ll have to take a test over when I actually do get my permit. They did, however, give me a photo ID card. It looks like a permit, it smells like permit, it even comes with a student driver sticker, but it’s not quite a permit.
Before you ask: yes, the photo is ugly, and most people my age already have a license. I wanted to wait so that I could get the license without paying for driver’s ed. Under Ohio law, if I’m 18 I don’t have to take driver’s ed which costs about $300. I’m not 18 yet, but by the time I actually get my license I will be.
Blogroll changes: I added Appalacian Hermitage, which is the home of the blogger formerly known as PenguinBoy. Not the original PenguinBoy, but the new PenguinBoy. For those of you who have no idea what I mean by original and new PenguinBoy, don’t worry about it. PenguinBoy still remains on my blogroll, but that may be removed soon, as it is inactive.
Today was a pretty good day. I finally got the two ads that I have been needing for my senior fundraiser. I had been scared that I wasn’t going to get them and I would have to pay the hundered-and-twenty-something dollars that I need for senior trip, but at the very last moment two businesses came through with ads for the school sports program. At seventy-five dollars apiece, I got enough to spare.
